What is missing for you to feel successful and effective?
As an ADHD coach, I don’t scrutinize and dwell on “what’s wrong”, I uncover “what’s missing” with my clients.
Typically, people who live with ADD or ADHD experience less-than-optimal results in living, learning or working environments. They seek a solution for their chaos, disorganization, focus issues, procrastination or a host of other behaviors. Their success has been repeatedly sabotaged while experimenting with a variety of strategies before seeking a coaching solution. In contrast, coaching strategies are forward-moving and solution-based, differing from programs such as a therapeutic approach.
For example, language matters. It is often difficult or frustrating for someone diagnosed with ADD or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) to feel positive about their contributions to the world because of the word “disorder” in the label.
My work with adults or parents or spouses of someone with ADD or ADHD is about reframing – they are not broken or “out of order”. We can make faster progress if we consider “disorder” in this case as having a need for different kinds of order, organization, systems, plans or routines.
If you, a family member or a colleague are struggling with performance concerns, frustration, procrastination or “fitting in” with environmental expectations, there are numerous tools that can be customized for you in our work together that can put you on the right track.
Giving direction toward outcomes that result in accomplishment, consistent functionality and happiness is part of The Taylor Solution.
It is my intention to bring forth the leader, creative talent and genius within, allowing an opening for consistent outcomes that better serve not only the person evaluated to have ADD/ADHD behaviors, but also those who love them, live with them or work with them.
